Our day is made up of various activities that are planned and based around the children’s needs through observations, making sure they get the right amount of social, physical, and emotional development. Children are kept busy with a wide variety of activities to encourage them which makes learning more fun.
Pineview Day Nursery was established back in 2006 and from then we have grown into the well-equipped setting we are today. We at Pineview Day Nursery are delighted to show you what we do and answer any questions you might have.
Pineview Day Nursery is fully registered with Northern Ireland Health & Social Care Trust. We are regularly inspected by their team of social workers. All inspection reports can be viewed on our notice board.
Health & safety regulations are also a big part of our running of the business by providing:
Adequate induction and training to ensure employees are competent to do their work.
Implement emergency procedures.
Maintain safe healthy working conditions, provide, and maintain
equipment and ensure safe storage/use of substances.
Staff are routinely consulted on health and safety issues as they arise.

Nutrition is especially important to young children. At Pineview Day Nursery we serve fresh healthy meals, which will help your child develop nutritious eating habits for a healthy lifestyle in years to come
All meals are prepared fresh daily in the nursery by our qualified cook, who is qualified in Food Hygiene. The nursery has held a 5-star rating from Environmental Health since ‘scores on the doors’ were introduced.
Our menu is nutritional and varied and our staff will work with children & parents to encourage good healthy eating habits.
We promote healthy eating through a range of activities such as stories, music & cookery
We participate in special campaigns such as those organised by the Health Promotion Agency (‘Boost Better Breaks’) to encourage healthy eating habits in children along with following “fussy eaters” plan.
